Draycott
armchair
32"w x 32"d x
39"h
Tufted back: $2865 + fabric
Flat back: $2400 + fabric
This is one of my all-time favorite chairs. Deep but not too deep,
comfortable and tailored at the same time, and so classically Edwardian,
with its turned legs, casters, brass nailhead trim and padded arms.
This chair looks great in a solid velvet or a patterned fabric. We
have used these in libraries, living rooms, and family rooms, and they
quickly become everyone's favorite chair. |
Durham armchair
39 1/2"w x 39 1/2"d x
35 1/2"h
$4515 + fabric
This is a nice, mid-size lounge or club chair. I normally don't like
skirts on furniture, but on this chair, it seems to add a little elegance
that is nice. I like the contrasting welt trim as well.

Leeds armchair
38"w x 41"d x
39"h
$3985 + fabric
We just did a pair of these in one of the Morris velvets, and they came
out spectacularly. The rounded back is just the right height and
curve to fit your body and support your head, and the padded arms make it
seem like your are being hugged. It is a very comforting, relaxing
chair. |
Corby armchair
28 3/4"w x 32 1/2"d x
35 1/2"h
Unskirted (right): $2770 + fabric
Skirted (left): $3315 + fabric
I like the look of this chair, especially the slightly shaped crest
detail. Not too large, it is a nice, occasional chair for a larger
seating group.

Carleton slipper
chair
25"w x 33"d x
36"h
Flat back: $2275 + fabric
Tufted back: $2365 + fabric
Slipper chairs got their name, so I've been told, because they are often
found in bedrooms, and the lady of the house would sit in them and put on
and take off her slippers. Whether that's true or not, these are
small, useful chairs for a variety of rooms. The seat height is on
the low side, 16" from the floor, so you need to be careful to give
them their own context. |
Stewart armchair
36"w x 39 1/2"d x
38"h
$4275 + fabric
A very clean, tailored lounge chair, it would be stunning covered in a
large-scale printed fabric.

Friar Manor
armchair
28"w x 33"d x 38
1/2"h
$2410 + fabric
I think this is just a great looking chair. I love the turned legs
with casters, the tufted back and the 3/4 rolled arms. This is
another piece that I think would be stunning in leather. |
Cheshire
armchair
28"w x 43"d x
38"h
Tufted back: $3495
Flat back: $3375
An elegant, classic chair, with a nice slant to the back and a deep
seat. It is hard to think about getting out of these chairs, they
are so comfortable and fit you so nicely. This is definitely the
"napping chair." |

Vivien armchair
30 1/2"w x 35"d x 36
1/2"h
$2475 + fabric
This is a very stylish, tailored chair, perfect for a bedroom, smaller
sitting area, or library. The seat height is 20", so it is more
upright than some of the bigger lounge chairs. A pair of these with
a lamp table in between would be a great composition. |
Loretta armchair
33"w x 42"d x 32
1/2"h
$3550 + fabric
This is one of several big, low, deep, comfortable lounge chairs in the
collection. With a slightly-raised rolled arm, this is perfect as a
living room or family room chair.

Mayfair
wingchair and ottoman
Chair: 33 1/2"w x
35"d x 49"h
$5105 + fabric
Ottoman: 21 1/2"w x 26"d x 20 1/2"h
$2690 + fabric
If you really want to indulge your Stately Home fantasies, this is the
chair to do it in. There are few things more comfortable than a good
wing chair. I could see a pair of these on either side of an elegant
console table at one end of a living room. |
Heath sofa
Loveseat: 69"w x 37
1/2"d x 36 1/2"h
$6800 + fabric
Sofa (shown): 90 1/2"w x 37 1/2"d x 36 1/2"h
$7760 + fabric
A beautiful, elegant piece that would work well in just about any room or
setting. With a nice, upright stance that is softened by the feather
and down back pillows.

 |
Tyrone armchair
33"w x 38 1/2"d x 39
1/2"h
$3120 + fabric
With its tufted back, modified English rolled arm, and turned legs with
casters, you can't get any more typically English than this. A
feather and down seat make this a very comfortable chair. |
Wentworth
armchair
29"w x 31 1/2"d x 35
1/2"h
$3550 + fabric
This would be a nice, moveable occasional chair for a secondary seating
group. Not quite a wing chair, it nevertheless has a very nice,
Edwardian Arts & Crafts feel to it.

William + Mary
wingchair and ottoman
Chair: 43"w x 36"d x
56 1/2"h
$5125 + fabric
Ottoman: 28"w x 25"d x 21"h
$2830 + fabric
This may be a bit over the top for some, but for others, it will be
perfect. William Morris liked this kind of furniture specifically
for its "English-ness", and often recovered period pieces in his
printed or woven fabrics to great effect.

York sofa
91"w x 39 1/2"d x
36"h
$6635 + fabric
We just put a pair of these in a client's family room, loaded them up with
pillows, and they are fantastically comfortable. The single,
bench-style cushion avoids those awkward seams, and it is long enough that
an adult can lie down and take a nap. Feather and down filling. |
 |
 |
Clark sofa
68 1/2"w x 40"d x
41"h
$5595 + fabric
This is a beautiful, deep, comfortable sofa. Tailored and tidy, it
would be perfect in a small room, library, or bedroom. The pillows
are a feather/down blend, as is the seat cushion, making it very
comfortable.
|
Garrison sofa
Loveseat (shown): 80"w x
41"d x 37"h
$6530 + fabric
Sofa: 90"w x 41"d x 37"h
$7075 + fabric
The classic turn-of-the-century sofa. Deep, comfortable, sturdy,
this is the anchor for a room. Beautiful in a velvet or woven
fabric, it would also be stunning in leather. |

Dunham
and Eaton
ottomans
Dunham (tufted): 38"w x 28"d x
20"h
$2445 + fabric
Eaton (flat top): 38"w x 28"d x 20"h
$2060 + fabric
These are nice, large and useful ottomans. I often use them in place
of a coffee table, to serve as overflow seating for parties. |
Baxter ottoman
38"w x 38 "d x 20"h
$1295 + fabric
A nice, large, square ottoman is a very useful thing. Two people can
sit back to back and not feel crowded. You can also load it up with
books, magazines and other important stuff and still have room for your
feet.
