Limbert wastebasket
quarter sawn white oak with "fumed" and stained finish
18"h x 11" square
$320 + shipping
Wastebaskets are among the hardest things to find in an antique.  The great ones, like the Limbert cut-out or the Gus or Roycroft ones, are extremely expensive.   Our version is better than the original because the side panels are solid oak, not veneer. ORDER

Spindle footstool #395
oak with aniline-dyed leather and hand-wrought pyramidal brass tacks
15"h x 20"w x 16"d
$975 + shipping

ORDER

This is a beautiful little footstool, delicate in proportion and graceful in its detailing.  Gustav Stickley introduced his line of spindle furniture in 1905, due, some say. to his seeing the furniture Frank Lloyd Wright created for the Darwin Martin house in Buffalo the year before.  Whatever the inspiration, Stickley's spindle pieces are among his most sought-after and desirable works today.  This stool works well with any of the morris chair designs, either antique or the reproductions we offer by Hile Studios
