I have only had the original of this form twice in my career, and oddly both of them came out of Michigan.  In any event, this is a beautiful, spare yet elegant little seat or bench, offered by Gustav Stickley for only one year, 1901.  It is perfect in an entry, hallway, kitchen, bedroom, mudroom, inglenook, window bay, etc. Really, anyplace that you might want to sit for a minute or two, but not lounge.

This is a beautiful, delicate little footstool or seat, and is perfect for a bedroom, sun porch, or more casual, bungalow living room.  We have taken pains to make sure it is exactly like the original, and the rush is real, natural twisted rush, and not that awful paper stuff.  Get two or three and scatter them around the house - you'll always find a use for them. 

This is a rare and wonderful little piece of furniture.  I have only seen two of these, and owned only one.  It make a great side table, a perfect bench, and a nice little coffee table.  What more could you want?  Kids love to sit on it in the gallery, so I guess you could add child's bench to it as well.  How can you not have one?
