is deceptively simple - no overt joinery, no keyed through-tenons, but the

I sold
the original of this table, along with a pair of L&JG armchairs, to
some clients in Kansas, and it is one of the handful of pieces that I
regret letting go, not because they weren't nice people, but because I
knew this was a special piece of furniture, and that I would never see
another like it again. All things are possible, however, and I had a
reproduction made, first for myself, and now for the gallery. It is
perfect behind a settle where space is limited, or in an entry, bedroom,
upstairs hall, one end of a living room, underneath a set of windows, and
so on. Its uses are only limited by your imagination. |

These are great, useful, beautiful
tables, adaptable to a variety of uses. As nightstands, they are
extremely useful, with the lower open space perfect for books, magazines,
etc. The two lower drawers are sized to hold CDs and video tapes if
you want to use it as a TV/stereo cabinet. I originally had this
made for my own house, but every time it was delivered to the gallery,
someone wanted to buy it. We finally have them in every bedroom, and
they are fantastic, trust me.

This is a fantastic
table for an entry hall. Its narrow depth is ideal where space is
limited, and also makes it well-suited for behind a sofa or settle.
The top two drawers are sized to hold CDs, while the bottom one can store
videos, making it perfect as a stereo / entertainment piece as well.
I'm sure you can think of more uses than these! Available in chestnut,
as shown, and Van Dyke, which is a very dark brown.

This is one of my favorite Limbert tables, and I wanted a pair for my own home, so I
had them made and delivered to the gallery, where someone promptly bought them. When
I had another pair made, someone else bought those. I finally got the picture and
had a large run produced, and they are beautiful. A sophisticated blend of Vienna,
Glasgow and Pasadena, it truly is , in my opinion, one of Limbert's best.
