| The
Robie house was one of Wright's most important commissions. Located in
Hyde Park, a neighborhood of Chicago, it was completed in 1908, and
contained furniture, lighting and textiles all designed by Wright, or, as
in the case of these carpets, by Niedecken. Designed for the guest room,
they apparently were never made. |
